SPECIMEN MACHINING

At Kin-Tech, we are specialized in machining of test specimens—a vital initial step in conducting destructive testing services on metal materials. Whether it's Compact Tension, V-Notch Impact, Flat Tensile, or Round Tensile, our skilled team ensures each specimen is precisely machined to meet the standards and specifications required for the planned testing. Post-machining, a thorough dimensional inspection is conducted to guarantee that each specimen aligns seamlessly with design specifications. If you have specific requirements or unique testing needs, our team is ready to help!

Flat Tensile specimen

Used in tensile testing to measure mechanical properties such as yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and elongation.

Plane Strain Tensile Specimen

Used to assess material behavior under plane strain conditions, where lateral deformations are restrained.

Round Tensile test specimen

Uses round geometry that allows for more uniform stress distribution, minimizing stress concentration at the grips.

Charpy Specimen

Used to determine a material’s ability to absorb energy during fracture, particularly under high strain rate conditions.

Compact Tension Specimen

Used in fracture mechanics testing to determine critical stress intensity factors (K_IC) and resistance to crack growth.
